You are assigned to review school-based data in reading to determine the academic strength and needs of the students.

You are then to locate and select scientifically researched based strategies for improvement, including strategies to teach reading in all components of reading instruction: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension throughout the content areas. Submission Instructions:

Download and complete the school based reading data worksheetPreview the document. Be sure to include explanations of the strategies for each of the content areas with citations throughout.
Once the worksheet is completed, use the data collected to write a paper that explains the strategies for each the content area. Include the worksheet as Appendix A of your paper.
The paper is to be clear and concise and students will lose points for improper grammar, punctuation and misspelling.
The paper should be formatted per current APA and 6-8 pages in length, excluding the title, abstract and references page. Incorporate a minimum of 5 current (published within last five years) scholarly journal articles or primary legal sources (statutes, court opinions) within your work.
