Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

Find an article that is related to using managerial accounting information. Write a 750 1,000 word paper that provides a summary and a reaction to the article. The summary should include specific references to the article, and the reaction should include information regarding how you would use this managerial accounting information in practice. The reaction section should be supported by at least two other outside sources. Submit your assignment by the end of the topic.

Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is/is not required.

This assignment uses a grading rubric. Instructors will be using the rubric to grade the assignment; therefore, students should review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the assignment criteria and expectations for successful completion of the assignment.

RUBRIC
1. Summary identifies key points of the article. Student connects the article to course content. Student explanation of key points demonstrates superior understanding of the material.
2. Reaction includes a logical response to the article content, and an explanation of how student will use this new knowledge gained. Explanation of how knowledge will be used is supported by at least one other outside resource.
3. Thesis and/or main claim are comprehensive. The essence of the paper is contained within the thesis. Thesis statement makes the purpose of the paper clear.
4. Clear and convincing argument presents a persuasive claim in a distinctive and compelling manner. All sources are authoritative.
5. Writer is clearly in command of standard, written, academic English.
6. All format elements are correct.
7. In-text citations and a reference page are complete and correct. The documentation of cited sources is free of error.
