In this week’s Application, you examined multicultural guidelines that were developed to help psychologists working with diverse populations. Now, you will apply these guidelines to a forensic psychology case study containing multicultural issues.

To prepare for this Discussion:

• Review the selected pages of Chapter 10 in the course text, Introduction to Forensic Psychology. Pay particular attention to issues pertaining to multiculturalism that may impact the practice of forensic psychology.
• Review the case study provided in the introduction area of this week’s discussion and make note of any areas you believe are multicultural considerations or issues and/or that require multicultural competence.
• Review the two APA Web sites, found in this week’s Learning Resources, which contain multicultural guidelines.
• Consider which guidelines might help to address the multicultural considerations or issues you identified in the case study.

With these thoughts in mind:

Post by Day 4 a brief explanation of at least two multicultural issues you identified in the case study. Then, explain which multicultural guidelines pertain to and might help address these issues and why.
