We can work on Old Testament

Old Testament

Order Description

Syllabus Requirements:
focus on an analysis of your ability to compare, contrast, discuss, and analyze commonalities, differences, and parallels to the Hebrew scripture writings alongside
those you have discovered in the Readings of the Ancient Near East. This is considered an academic paper and should be well researched, formatted in APA, and follow
standards of excellence in grammar, proofreading, and clarity of syntax.

Course Instructions:
After having reviewed material from the course, complete the following in a paper that follows the standard APA format. Proofread and make sure your work is well
developed, answers the questions specifically, and strong grammar is present throughout all of your work.

Choose at least 10 different pieces of Hebrew (Old Testament) scripture that appear to have similarities or common story or ideas present from those in the Near
Eastern text. Provide the passages from each to begin your comparison. Explain their meaning in the context as best you can. After providing a bit of explanation for
each item, provide a reflection on why you think there are such strong similarities between the Hebrew and other accounts of life in the Near East.

What are at least three major themes you see in the Old Testament? Give examples to support your observation and why you think these themes might be so important to
one’s understanding of the OT.

Name at least three (minimum) things you learned from the texts, videos, and reflections you have undertaken in this course. Make sure you explain to me what you are
taking away and how it may help you in your understanding of faith in the future.
