I have been having chronic kidney pains that over the course of a year have moved to the front of where the kidneys are as well. Why is doctor ignoring?

Have had chronic kindey area pain for over a year- have had a couple surgeries to remove cysts/tumors on right ovaries, in which the doctor said will remove the pains but have not diminished them, but instead they have steadily increased in pain and how often. Kidney stones have been ruled out. Blood work has shown my kidney function is lowered. I have diabetes type 2, as well as hpv and a large family history of cancer. My doctor who is a nurse practitioner has brushed off my pain for the last year and I’m getting to the point where I can’t do much because of it. I have other health issues going on that seem to be brushed off as well such as liver enzymes fluctuating greatly. Is there a reason my doctor does not think my severe kidney pain is worth figuring out? Should I be concerned of the pain, is it a symptom of something other then kidney stones and UTIs?
