The purpose of the assignment is to use the framework of Babbie (2005) and Gravetter and Forzano (2009) to discuss and
analyze the various, and diverse, causes of the credit crisis, and also to take a critical look at some of the proposed or
conceivable solutions. The angle from which we study these causes and cures is the quantitative point of view, preferably
seasoned with a healthy dose of realism and common sense.
