The students group must get approval from the instructor on the appropriate topic. To give a few examples, research topics could address issues such as HR Planning in the Public sector, Dicrimination Laws or Merit System Promotion. These papers should include the following aspects:

1) Introduction of the topic (what is the issue for human resource management?)

2) Why is this topic important for public organizations?

3) What other issues interrelate to the main topic being addressed.

4) How are managers currently addressing the issue in public organizations?

5) Conclusion (what does the future hold for this issue in public organizations?)
