Grading Criteria: You will be graded on the following elements in your literature review:
Identify a research question and/or hypothesis (where relevant)
Critical Discussion of the literature
Justification for doing the research
Literature review style, referencing and grammar/spelling
A minimum of 15 references (academic & non-academic). Please note: If you list a reference in your reference list, you must reference it in the body of your paper. In other words, if you don’t actually end up using the reference, then you must remove it from your list. Papers listing references that are not used will be marked down. There is no word count or minimum page numbers on this assignment. I am looking for the review of 15 academic and non-academic sources, as a minimum. However many pages it takes you to do that depends upon your writing style.
IMPORTANT: Tips for writing a literature review
Writing a literature review is not the same thing as writing an essay. A literature review has a very distinctive writing style. Please make sure you fully understand the differences between the two. If you write an essay, as opposed to a literature review, you will be disappointed in your grade on this assignment
Here are a couple of links to get you started, but please do more research to fully understand how to write a literature review, as this is a critical aspect of this assignment:
