-Explore your issue by making connections between sources
-Use a variety of evidence: statistics, facts, numbers (when appropriate) as well as scholarly, philosophical, analytic or biographical information when also applicable
-Make an overarching argument about said topic
-Write for an academic audience

Your research will include:
-three scholarly, peer-reviewed articles (high on the hierarchy)
-one popular article
-and two others
a minimum of six sources total, eight recommended

You will also:
-Write 1,500-2000 words
-Have a works cited (that doesn’t count toward the word count)
