Please tell us why you want to pursue a course of study in Electronic Media and Film. How have your life experiences, creative interests and professional goals influenced your choice of this major?

Some info: I like to watch a lot of ESPN and sports broadcasting on TV. One of my favorite journalist is Stephen A Smith because he has remarkable vocabulary and can articulate himself in ways indescribable. My favorite football team is the Washington Redskins because they have my two favorite players in Desean Jackson and Deangelo Hall. My favorite basketball player is Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder. I like how explosive he is and his determination to get a championship. I want to major in mass communication because I enjoy speaking and I also enjoy being behind the camera. I am familiar with all sorts of cameras such as Nikons, Kodak’s, and Panasonics. I completed a internship at the City Hall of Downtown Frederick where I got hands on experience with numerous software such as Adobe Illustrator , Photoshop , and Adobe Premiere. I also learned many functions with cameras such as how to do Wide Shots , how to set up a stage , and know learn how to position a camera like Tilt , Pan and White Balance.
