Overview: This is an individual project that requires you to research and evaluate how effectively a multinational financial institution manages risk and addresses violations, and create a proposal on legal solutions for an imaginary new financial institution in the UAE.
Instructions: Choose an international/multinational financial institution. No two students may select the same institution. Write a report of at least 1,000 words on the following:
- What areas of risk has this institution identified as threats?
- What risk management solutions and practices has this institution put in place to address these risks/threats?
- Imagine that this financial institution will begin operating in the UAE (if it has not done so already). Describe what newrisks/threats might be present in operating in the UAE, and how the institution will manage these.
- Identify at least two specific UAE laws that will apply to this institution, and briefly describe how it will comply with these laws.
- Include a brief conclusion.
