English 103 Midterm    *    Fall 2015
Midterm Prompt: In addition to the literature we have read this semester, you have also been reading and learning about Literary Criticism and the different types that exist.  So far you have been asked to read about Feminist Criticism, Psychoanalytic Criticism, Reader Response Criticism, Marxist Criticism, Deconstruction Criticism and New Historicism.  Each type asks the reader to view and think about literature in different ways.
Midterm Directions: In a 2 page discussion, explain which type of literary criticism works best for you.  In doing so, discuss the aspects of it that you appreciate.
