Essays must be word processed and properly formatted. Follow the ESSENTIAL STYLE GUIDE for layout and referencing conventions. You must also remember to include a filmography after your bibliography. If you do not clearly indicate (‘using inverted commas’) and reference any phrases and sentences not your own that you have copied from printed or electronic sources, you are plagiarising. Your main sources should be books, chapters and journal articles. Use Internet sources sparingly and be aware that these can be detected by staff electronically.
