Assuming you or your group work for “Consultants R Us” and you have been requested to develop an Expression of Interest (EOI) for funding under a scheme offered by an Australian Government Department.
The Department has advertised that priority will be given to proposals which support:
-? Regional collaboration – particularly in the areas of developing country trade and trade facilitation (goods, services and capital), economic reform and growth, transport safety and security, marine and fisheries resources, food security, energy, water and climate
-? Strengthening of public sector capability in developing countries to address constraints to trade and economic growth including policy, infrastructure, financing, local and global supply chains, resource management and workforce skills
-? Improved access to financial services, including strengthening the domestic revenue base in developing countries and assisting developing countries to mobilise private investment.

You or your group have brainstormed a number of suitable projects, including:
1. Harnessing Intellectual Property in fostering industrial (e.g. pharmaceuticals, agriculture) and economic growth developing country.
2. Transforming the Technical and Vocational Education Sector to foster skills development in a developing country.
3. Mitigating the impact of natural disasters in developed or developing countries.
4. Developing entrepreneurial skills for livelihood activities and skills development in a developing country.
5. The role of free trade agreements in promoting economic growth and financial resilience in developed or developing countries.

Required:
Choose one of these potential topics and write-up an EOI according to the attached template. If you prefer to create an alternative topic of your own choosing, please discuss first with the Unit Convenor.
