The purpose of this assignment is to better understand childhood disabilities and how they can impact development. You will be required to select a childhood disability either from the text (pp 258-266) or from an outside source and to discuss the impact it can have on development. You must clearly identify and define the disability, discuss the symptoms associated with the disability, discuss how those symptoms impact functioning, and how they can have an effect on development.

You will be required to hand in a 2-3 page maximum (excluding cover-page) written summary of your findings. Your assignment should conform to APA formatting. Remember to include your Full Name & ID Number on the cover page. Remember to cite and reference any sources.
