Methodology used behind a research proposal draft about expanding the training of nurse practitioners to include more procedures
Order Description
a 3 page paper providing the methodology being used in a research proposal draft supporting the expansion of the training of nurse practitioners to be able to include
more procedures within their scope of practice.
My theory for my proposal is that nurse practitioners already perform a number of minimally invasive procedures in areas such as interventional radiology, and I
believe that if allowed to perform more, they can help answer the physician shortages the U.S. faces after the Affordable Care Act enabled 20 million Americans to be
newly insured.
The type of research articles being used to support my theory are those discussing NPs who perform minimally invasive procedures, the benefits of that care in
comparison to physician-performed procedures, and the those discussing the ease of training NPs over the training effort and time of a physician to work in the
procedural setting.
The paper must include:
Extraneous Variables (and plan for how controlled).
Instruments: Description, validity, and reliability estimates, which have been performed (on a pre-established measure). Include plans for testing validity and
reliability of generating your own instrument(s).
Description of the Intervention
Data Collection Procedures
