Evaluating HCO Systems and Implementing HKM – Strategies, Tools, & Practices. Based on the assumption that the organizational culture is ready for and receptive to health knowledge management (HKM), the goal now is to prepare for assessing the organizational infrastructure’s state of organizational readiness for HKM.
Please address the following questions in at least 500 words :

1. What tools, methods, metrics and/or evaluation frameworks would you advocate for health informaticians to utilize in order to assess the current state of readiness of the organizational information infrastructure for HKM; why?

2. From a hypothetical post-evaluation perspective, what elements of the current health information infrastructure could likely be repurposed for a health knowledge infrastructure; what missing elements will likely need to be designed; why?

3. In your professional view, what issues can be anticipated in realizing an organizational HKM vision for a health knowledge infrastructure; what critical success factors emerge; what strategic organizational priorities do they suggest for planning and action to resolve or mitigate them; why?
