This essay is not just about describing the elements of the production. It is also not about how much you did or did not like the play. Your descriptions of moments in the production should always be paired with interpretation, analysis, and evaluation of what you saw. Everything on stage has a reason for being there. Why was it there? Why was it like it was?

This essay does not require external sources of any kind. Do not use summaries from the internet, do not use definitions from anywhere, do not use anything that is not your original work. All instances of plagiarism/academic dishonesty will be reported to academic affairs. It does not matter if you are aware that what you did was plagiarism, it is YOUR responsibility as a student to know what does and does not constitute plagiarism. This isn’t difficult, just write the paper yourself and don’t use sources.
