EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: a few sentences on each of the major elements of the report; should be one paragraph, total.
INTRODUCTION: in this section, you give an in-depth description of the following:
State what your topic is.
Define the innovation you will discuss.
Describe the background/history of the innovation and
The need it fulfills.
Describe what specific elements of the innovation/development you will focus on.
METHODS: give a brief description of the research methods you used for this project.
RESULTS: give a report of your results; include statistics, quotes and data that indicate the effectiveness, or lack of effectiveness, of the innovation you have researched. You may find that using a few graphics in this section is helpful (see textbook for examples). Note:Using graphics can only enhance your grade; if you choose not to use them, your grade will not suffer.
CONCLUSIONS: Discuss your assessment of the effectiveness of the innovation you have researched. Be sure to base your final analysis specifically on the results you have obtained.
GLOSSARY: A list of definitions for the technical terms that you use repeatedly in your report.
ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPY: You must have at least 4 sources. Note that, because topics evolve, these don’t have to be the exactly the same sources in your initial bibliography; nor do they have to be annotated.
