Squaw Creek Golf Course E-Commerce

Squaw Creek Golf Course wants to redesign their site, and sell golf balls and memberships online. This development will create the web site and a database for the web presence. The site doesn’t have to actually accept money, but it will have a database that stores products (golf balls) and gives the customers opportunities to sign up for memberships.

Mars Lander–Real Time Simulation

This system will simulate the Guidance Control System (GCS) of a Mars Lander. The definition of the software requirements for the GCS project focuses on two primary needs for the software: (a) to provide guidance and engine control of the lander vehicle during its terminal phase of descent onto the planet’s surface and (b) to communicate sensory information to an orbiting platform about the vehicle and its descent. The lander vehicle is to be controlled includes a guidance package containing sensors that obtain information about the vehicle state, a guidance and control computer, and actuators providing the thrust necessary for maintaining a safe descent.

Monitoring and Alarm System–Real Time Simulation

The Monitoring and Alarm System (MAS) monitors an array of sensors that are geographically distributed in any type of enclosed structure and consists of fire, smoke, heat, and static electricity sensors. The MAS software enables (1) the maintenance crew to configure the fire, smoke, heat, and static electricity alarm system when it is installed, (2) allows the structure occupants to monitor all sensors connected to the alarm system, (3) allows the structure occupants to reset and deactivate individual sensors or sensor types, and (4) interacts with the users through a graphical user interface.

Risk Management–Decision Support

Risk Manager is tool that will enable a Program Manager (PM) to easily implement a continuous risk management process that is based on the SEI Continuous Risk Management Process. The application shall lead the PM through the nominal, continuous, iterative risk management process.

Metric Tracking–Decision Support

Successful acquisition of complex, software intensive systems requires Program Managers (Program Manager) to collect and analyze data that spans the primary and secondary development activities. The Metrics Tracking system, will be an application that the PM can use to collect data from multiple sources and then be able to display graphical, monitor data trends, and provide data reports.

Williams Specialty Company–Business Automation

Williams Specialty Company (WSC) is a small print and engraving organization and this application will allow WSC employees to automate the customer service, inventory, and quality control business process.

Taylor’s Professional Services–Web Site eCommerce

Taylor’s Professional Services (TPS) wants to establish a web presences and they wish to provide outreach services, staffing resumes, staffing inquiries, and staffing request through a web based portal. This development will create the web site and scripting services for the initial web presence.
