The paper will do two things concisely: 1) Summarize a problem that affects either the student’s work or their planned workI .

For the second portion of the paper, you will need to find five journal articles that provide you with useful background on your workplace problem. In a perfect world, the “cascading” portion of this challenge involves first finding a useful article from between 2011 and today, summarizing it briefly, then finding the next useful article that you’ll summarize from the literature review of the first article. Summarize your second article briefly, and then from the literature review find a third useful article; and repeat this exercise until you have found and summarized five articles. The paper will also include a one page conclusion, summarizing what the student has learned from the five articles.

Outline: This paper has three parts. First, the student should summarize a “workplace problem,” in 0ne page. The problem is up to the student to choose, and may be a narrow administrative difficulty or a larger policy problem. Next, the student should provide individual summaries of the five articles that inform their broader understanding of the problem. Each summary should be at least half a page; it should include an overall description of the article’s coverage and also a short summary of the content that pertains to the student’s workplace problem. Finally, the paper should include a one or two paragraph conclusion that summarizes the lessons learned from the student’s literature review with specific relevance to their chosen problem.

The paper will be graded based on clarity, conciseness, quality of prose throughout, and originality of coverage of the problem and literature related to it.
