The Content of the Leader’s Heart

Assignment Introduction and Context:

This exercise is a time for you to be very autobiographical. You have a brief opportunity to analyze your own heart as a leader and assess your practices of encouraging the hearts of others. Spend plenty of time thinking and reflecting to respond to the questions below.

Tasks:

What are the things that encourage you and that you point out in others and their work?
What stages of engaging people in organization do you tend to invest most of your encouragement in (getting people involved, training, placing in ministry, or reviewing their work)?
What one innovative people builder skill could you add to be a more effective leader?

Your final product will be in a Microsoft Word document. Utilize at least five sources from professional and academic literature in your research. Interaction with relevant biblical texts is expected.

Your paper should be written in a clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of sources; and display accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and formatted in Turabian style.

In a minimum of 500 words, write your response in a Microsoft Word document in Turabian format.
