Info needed: I attend a church called Mission Church of Christ in Somerville Ma. It’s a black church, it’s Pentecostal/ Apostolic. My Bishop do not allow women preachers due to bible. I’ve been attending this church for 18+ years. I kind of attend this church because I do love the discipline it has and I also feel like I attend this church ’cause it’s tide to my youth. my father who is deceased use to always take us to church I remember growing up going to church how strick, and so disciplined. so kind of i do not mind going to this church. so, besides going to church I listen to a couple of woman preachers on podcast, youtube. I feel like they preach very well. I connect with them. Juanita Bynum, Joyce Meyer, Priscilla Shirer, Bishop Ernestine Reems ( we have to write about the woman preachers I just mentioned). My church is very strick, so why do I continue to go? I love the Strictness. I feel like is you are going to give praise and worship in the sanctuary, we ought to give God that. We also have to tie in this book in paper. Braude’s book Sisters and Saints Woman and American Religion by Ann Braude. This book is available on line.
