From the story of these two characters love has been symbolized by two hearts pierced by an arrow: the arrow of Cupid. In his letter to the Ephesians, St. Paul writes: “Because our struggle is not against enemies of flesh and blood, but against the Principalities and Powers, against the Sovereigns of this world of darkness, against the evil spirits that inhabit space ” (Ephesians 6,12)>
