  1. There was much debate over the ratification of the Constitution. Choose either the Federalist or anti-Federalist position and argue the legitimacy of the Constitution and its provisions. Include a discussion of how the Constitution addressed the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation.
  2. How were civil rights of all Americans initially impacted by the implementation of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments? How were they circumvented and by whom? Finally, how did the civil rights guaranteed by the aforementioned laws become a reality to all of America?
