Think about what consultation encompasses, how it relates to prevention and intervention, and how it may address mental health and behavioral concerns in various settings.

• Review the article, “Advocacy and Services: The National Mental Health Association and Prevention.” Reflect on the historical evolution of prevention on the national level and on how prevention at this level may impact society.

• Consider how prevention, intervention, and consultation endeavors may lead to social change.
