PORTFOLIO (GENRE CHANGE) Using the source document (supplied below), repackage the material into three different genres specified below. You are NOT critiquing the source document, giving your opinion on its content, nor adding further information from research. Your aim is to keep the integrity of the original document but repackage it into three different genres with its message intact. – You may want to use software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe CC, or tools like wordpress.com, canva.com, or Invision. There are four sets of components for this task: Summary sheet listing audience, purpose and context: Briefly outline of the audience, purpose and context for each of the three genres (headings and dot points can be used here). ‘Audience’ refers to the intended target audience of each of the three genres; ‘purpose’ refers to the aims of the document, and ‘context’ refers to where the document will be found. Repackaging of the original document into these three genres: Original Document: 10 Keys To Writing A Speech – Forbes.pdf. 1- A5 double-sided fact sheet 2- two-page magazine spread 3- Website, showing three different pages of the site (e.g. home, article, contact us) — mobile/tablet, or desktop layout. (Note: This only needs to be a mock-up (e.g. created in Word/Photoshop). You do not need to create a fully functioning website. 4- Theoretical reflection in 500 words: Discuss the design issues you faced in changing the material from one form to another. Theorise these issues and the decisions you made, use at least three different course resources. Reference list (Harvard format): Include all resources, including theoretical sources used to support your positions, references for images, and any other sources of information that you used.
