The legalization of marijuana, or commonly referred to as the gateway drug, has been a prodigious discussion that has generated some large debates ever since the legalization by the state of Colorado. You tend to hear most individuals who say they are on the side of decriminalization of marijuana because of the many added benefits that would be economically profitable.  There are many effects of legalization to include; taxation, medical practices, and job growth. So, if it is this black and white and the government can profit and economically grow, why hasn’t it been legalized. Well, as in any great debate there are always two sides to the discussion.
