The final paper requires students to develop a single topic idea for a formal research paper. From your topic proposal assignment, select ONE topic. Find an additional 7 academic sources (minimum of 10 sources required for the paper). The paper should be written so it is confined to the particular theme the student has been assigned.The paper MUST employ at least ONE of the theoretical perspectives in Medical Anthropology. It must critically approach your theme from the perspective of medical anthropology and use key medical anthropological theory/concepts to interpret the topic. The paper will have a short introduction followed by sections that explore specific aspects of the topic.The paper must be 8-10 pages and follow standard formatting guidelines. This page limit does not include a references cited section, the cover page, pictures/graph, or an abstract page. Students must use the APA style guide to format their citations. References cited should be at the end of the paper. The final paper is due on 3/16. Students will submit an electronic copy to D2L. Please save it as a MSWord or Rich Text document.
