Can you help me understand this Environmental Science question?

The ESS Lecture Reflections are an ongoing exploration of your view on sustainability as it evolves over the course of the semester. Each week, you will hear a different invited speaker develop their perspective during a pre-recorded lecture and in a Thursday evening Q&A session. In these reflections, consider how that speaker has informed your own view.

Each lecture reflection pushed you to consider three or four of the ESS lectures. Your lecture reflection must briefly summarize the key points of each lecture, as well as provide an integrated discussion of the core themes of the lectures. You should include aspects of the question and answer components of each evening lecture. The reflections are 1400 to 1800 words (6-8 pages) in length.
