This week you will begin the Final Project which you will work on each week during the course. The first portion of the Project is due by the end of Week 2. These instructions are in the Course Manual and are also available as a Word document here. The instructions for Week 1/2 are also listed below:

Review all instructions for the Final Project
Read “Interprofessional Collaborative Practice in Primary Health Care: Nursing and Midwifery Perspectives”
Begin to write Section I of your paper using APA style. If you need to review APA contact the UC Library, or another website that is also helpful is The Owl. Section I one will consist of the following:
Create the Title page, Draft Abstract and Draft table of contents (The abstract and table of contents will be added to over the next 6 weeks. For this submission, you are writing the Abstract and Table of Contents as a place holder, there is minimal content).
Write the Introduction for the paper which will provide a brief analogy and overview of the sections that will be included in the paper. Make sure to include your critical thinking as you are writing sharing why these sections are important in Leadership Competency.
Write Section 1 and title it “The Role of IPE and CP in Health Leadership today”.
As you write this section your discussion should integrate the following objectives from Week 1 learning content.
When you think of healthcare leadership and management are these concepts able to live within an IPE/CP environment?
When you think of theory and systems in health leadership do IPC/CP allow for this way of thinking?
Support your discussion with three references, one of which may be your text. This section should be a minimum of two (2) pages. **NOTE** You should only submit the title page, reference page and the section that is due each week. DO NOT submit a paper by adding to it each week. Submit Section I via the link located in Week 2.
Final Project – Week 2

Read “Interprofessional Collaborative Practice in Primary Health Care: Nursing and Midwifery Perspectives”

As you write this section your discussion should integrate the following objectives from Week 3/4 learning content.

Final Project – Week 5 – 6

Write Section II and title it “Case Studies”.
As you write this section your discussion should integrate the following objectives from Week 5/6 learning content.
As you review the case studies think of them in terms of budgeting and revenue management. Would there be different strategic decisions made in these countries versus how U.S. organizations manage their procurement and contracting process?
Evaluate the case studies in terms of transformational leadership and effective budget planning.

Support your discussion with three references, one of which may be your text. This section should be a minimum of one – two pages. **NOTE** You should only submit the title page, reference page and the section that is due each week. DO NOT submit a paper by adding to it each week. Submit Section III via the link located in Week 6.

Final Project – Week 7

Write Section IV and title it “Final Thoughts”.
As you complete this project what is your vision for being one of tomorrow’s healthcare leaders in an IPE/PC world?
As one of tomorrow’s healthcare leaders what vision do you have for IPE/PC?
How will you play a role supporting IPE/PC?
Closing critical thinking and reflection of project. This is where you will summarize the key take-aways from your paper as well as what you learned by completing the paper
This section should be a minimum of one to two pages.

The Word document that you submit should include the following:
Title page
Abstract
TOC
Four sections
Reference page (that included all of your references that you used throughout the course in your other sections)

NO revisions should be made as the other sections have already been graded. Your grade on this submission is for the “formatting” of the paper, and the last section (Final Thoughts)
