For this project we are going to delve into the interaction between advertising and Social Psychology. Virtually all advertising appeals to some aspect of a person’s psychology, in fact most advertising companies have psychologists on staff, or consult heavily with them. Follow the steps below in completing this project:

Once you select a commercial, answer the following questions:

• How is that ad meant to appeal to some aspect of the consumers’ psychology?
• Do you believe this ad to be effective? Why/ why not?
• Whom do you believe to be the audience for this ad (e.g. age group, racial group, ethnic group, etc.).

Make sure you identify clearly which commercial you selected.

There is a 200 word minimum which only counts substantive writing (i.e. your responses to the questions). You must demonstrate appropriate college-level writing and grammar.
