Observe & analyze the following: 1) effective practices & interventions that support students with disabilities (SWD) & without disabilities across the content areas, 2) ways that the general education (GE) educator & special education (SE) staff work together to teach content-based lessons, & 3) strategies used for inclusive lessons (ELL, SWD, Gifted & Talented (GT), & all varied levels). The outline for the paper should be based on the following:
Introduction: Describe the classroom environment, content area, age group, & unit or topic.
Observation: Explain the practices & interventions supporting students without disabilities & SWD, the type of collaboration between GE & SE staff, & the inclusive strategies for ELL, SWD, &/or GT.
Critical Analysis & Recommendations: Analyze the instruction & interventions you observed. Use research & course materials to support your explanation of strengths, needs, & recommendations for improvement.
