We can work on Bergen Community College The Challenge of HUMINT Spies and Lies Discussion – Assignment Help

I don’t understand this Political Science question and need help to study.

This exercise is meant to illustrate some of the challenges involved in HUMINT, notably that sources may be unreliable, collection strategies influence what is found, and outside constraints may interfere.

On a personal note, when I worked briefly as a political analyst on Russian affairs for the State Department in our Embassy in Moscow some years ago, I remember my initial security briefing where I was told to trust no one, including people from allied countries. Let’s see how you did in your interactions with allies, neutrals, and enemies.

Please look at the briefing materials for the other teams in the module on the simulation conclusions. You will note that there were only 10 accurate pieces of information available for each country.

In 300 words, answer the following questions:

1. Accuracy and deception: Did you collect more than 10 pieces of information? Regardless of the number collected, was the information your team collected accurate? If not, who was responsible for the deception (allies, neutrals, enemy)?

3. Collection strategies: Having seen the available information and the experience of classmates from other teams, what would you have done differently to find the information you needed?

4. Constraints: What was the impact of time constraints? Did the request to find as much information as possible affect your collection strategy?

Be sure to respond to a classmate with a new point. In your posts you should refer to (Lowenthal 2020, 125-135) on HUMINT.
