I’m working on a social science writing question and need an explanation to help me learn.

For this assignment you will write a Research paper on California’s senior population, a growing force in economics and politics. You will need 6 References and do not use encyclopedia or the text as part of your required SIX references (bibliography) that must be included at the end of your paper. In addition, you must use in-text citations throughout the body of the paper (at least 6) as you would in any research paper. Ex. (USGS).

Once you have researched your topic California’s senior population, a growing force in economics and politics, plan to write in your own words, at least 1600 words about your topic. Be as specific as possible with the information and make sure to relate the information to the geographic principles of PLACE. This means make sure your information is specific to location and that it can be mapped spatially If it isn’t, it is not geographical and will be marked down at my discretion.

This assignment should be treated the same as a term or research paper assignment for an on-site class. Write the text using a word program and save it as a personal document file. Take spelling and grammar seriously, as though you were writing a research paper for an on-site class. Also, you must complete all information in MLA format, this includes the bibliography.
