I’m studying and need help with a Social Science question to help me learn.
Please respond to Vannessa with 250 words,
Topic 1: Reflection
In chapter 4, I have gained the knowledge of knowing how to properly create my own checklists to keep a record of every child in the classroom. These “yes or no” answered checklists are used to measure certain developmental domains of a child. The contents of checklists consist of simple and easily answered questions about the child. The questions must relate to a specific developmental domain and milestones of development, they should show the child’s progress over time if the records are kept repeatedly to show the child’s progress over time. I was not aware of the many types of checklists that can be used to keep records. One of the methods that are great to use every day in the classroom is the safety checklist for both indoor and outdoor. A checklist is also great to use as a daily health checklist. Upon entering the classroom before signing the child in, the daily health checklist must be completed. Of course, observing a child and taking records can be done with a checklist.
