Position paper 600 words in response to the following ”Was US intervention in the Cuban War of Independence an example of humanitarian altruism (i.e., hegemony) or imperialism?”. This paper will be in position of ”yes, the US DID pursue imperialist policies in this war”. but also will examine different positions in the debate surrounding the US role in the Cuban War of Independence (1898) with Spain.
