Discussion Prompt What do you see as the most important point in the reading, and why? What do you see as the most important point in the mini-lectures, and why? What is the most unusual, even surprising, idea for you from the reading? From the lectures? (You can state your disagreement, if you provide evidence!) What is the most unclear point to you from the reading or the lectures? What idea or ideas would you most like to learn more about? (You are absolutely encouraged to do so!) This discussion requires two posts, an initial post and a response post. As a general guideline, each post should be a minimum of 4 sentences – well-written, concise and meaningful. The first person commenting should provide their observations/conclusions, with justification, from a specific part of the presentation or reading, and then each additional person should continue to build on the previous comments to continue the discussion. Response posts should be substantive and move the discussion forward. This is your opportunity to discuss the information further with your classmates or to discuss whether you agree or disagree and state why or why not. Keep your comments professional and follow the Netiquette guidelines posted in the Discussion Board tab on the left-hand side. Note.
