Question 2: How can we improve communication with the families of culturally and
linguistically diverse students with disabilities, and help them become
actively involved in their children’s education? What are some of their legal
rights? How can transition personnel create positive and mutually beneficial
relationships with CLD students with disabilities and their families? Provide
