The topic for your annotated bibliography is on the meaning of the word “care” within a nursing context. Sources of information you can use should include peer reviewed journal articles, published Theses and academic books. For this assessment it is a requirement for you to select TEN research papers. Each annotated bibliography should follow the following format:
Description
Citation details (set out as a reference list in APA referencing style)
A short statement on what the focus of the paper and how the study was conducted
A short summary of the research findings and author(s) recommendations
Evaluation

Critique the usefulness of the research paper and possible limitations of the investigation
Consider the relevance of the research paper to your topic and area of speciality
The flowing steps will provide you with a structure for your annotated bibliography.
Arrange the ten research articles in alphabetical order according to the surname of the first author
Write a summary for each research paper using a SINGLE paragraph (usually 100‐300 words)
Write the summary in complete sentences following the general rules for academic writing
Make use of transition words (e.g. furthermore, moreover, however, therefore, nevertheless…) to link sentences together and maintain the flow of ideas throughout the paragraph
Remember to be concise on the information you provide
Avoid repeating information that is already present in the title
Do not cross reference other authors as you are only reviewing content contained in the research paper

So in the annotated bibliography I am looking at studies that have tried to investigate what it means to care for someone. There are quite a few studies that have looked at this question.
