This was my research proposal:
For the research project, I plan to write about and analyze some of the
different myths and rituals of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) tribes. I’ve always been fascinated by magic, myth, and ritual so this will be a perfect topic for me to explore and learn more about the different kinds of stories that were, and are still, being told today. I also hope to take a look into their culture and compare their beliefs to the American way of life.  I believe that there are numerous differences between the two, however, there’s bound to be some similarities as well.
