It is worth 25% of your grade. At the end of the project, each student will prepare a paper describing your experience: what worked, what didn’t, and what you learned. Then, each student will make a brief presentation in front of the class. There will be an opportunity for your peers to question your investment process. How well you develop your investment strategy, using concepts from the course and text book will have more influence on your grade than whether or not you made the most money, but bonus marks will be granted to the first 5 positions based on the Stock Track ranking at the end of the official trading period. Therefore, some knowledge of what is happening in the economy will be necessary in order for you to take a view on determining the relative attractiveness of various investments, strategies, and markets.
