Read the book chapter and write down your comments, responses, and/or questions in 700 words. You should be wondering how the music mentioned in the reading sounds like.
Make sure that your focus is on the arguments/points made by the author, not on the music pieces themselves. This assignment should not be a simple summary of the reading: you need to identify and highlight some of the points/arguments of the reading that interest you, engage with them by asking questions, making comments and so on. You can refer to additional sources (in any language) in your discussion, but not necessary. In that case, you should identify the source (by either parentheses or footnotes).
