Guidelines:

This paper should be written as a cohesive whole without headings, section breaks, bullet points, etc. Beyond this requirement, the paper must contain these four elements:
identify the contours of the debate in regards to the “sharing economy” as outlined by Tom Slee in chapters 1 and 2 of What’s Yours is Mine. Note, in particular, Slee’s own argumentative intervention.

• choose one of the following chapters from What’s Yours is Mine: 3 or 4. Summarize the case study of your chosen chapter. In your summary, it is most important that you address the contours of the debate around your case study paying particular attention to how the case study exemplifies Slee’s position.

• choose one of the following chapters from What’s Yours is Mine: 6 or 7. Summarize the chapter and the contours of the debate Slee sets up in the chapter, paying particular attention to Slee’s position.

• Insert yourself into the debates of Slee’s book in some way. You may, if you wish, draw off of other readings we’ve read in the course.

While the paper must contain these four elements, the way you organize them is up to you—again, provided that you write the paper as a cohesive whole. When you use direct quotes, cite with author last name and page number in parentheses.
