Project report format:
No more than 10 pages, font 10 or larger. Include references throughout your report.
Report should include following sections:
Abstract: summarize your project goal and outcomes in 100 words or less
1. Introduction: Introduce the project goal and your sub-task. Give background indicating why this work is useful or interesting. Explain what is state of the art, and what are the current technical issues. Explain how global issues may affect your project, and how your project may impact global issues.
2. Design Specifications: indicate power, capacity factor, efficiency, and expected environmental impact of your system. Indicate what generated electricity could be used for (for example power certain number of homes, or certain number of electronic devices)
3. Design Methods: Explain your design methodology, which materials you will be using, how is your device/power plant going to be built, estimate cost and project duration (This includes a clear description of individual sub-tasks)
4. Outcomes: Description of data analysis and results. (This includes a clear description of individual sub-tasks)
5. Discussion/Conclusion: What did you accomplish (This includes a clear description of individual sub-tasks)? What technical improvements can be made? How are your results relevant to global issues? What is the environmental impact of your solution?
