This research will be about how the Interest Coverage Ratio (EBIT (Earning Before Interest and Tax)/ Interest) violates the Islamic Sharia. Once the violations are addressed, please provide a way in which the ratio could be designed to be a Sharia compliant. Please elaborate more and analyze how this design makes the ratio a Sharia compliant. Also, certain accounting practices or standards are allowed to be reviewed for Sharia compliance. You must make recommendation to fix the ratio or process you examine so that it is Sharia compliant. Please be very specific on the specific Sharia code that is violated and document the verses and pages of the Koran or other noted Islamic texts to document the meaning of the code and any violation.
