Ø Analyse a cultural profile and management practices of the local area in which you will be operating. What are the workers going to be like? What kind of reception do
you anticipate from local governments, suppliers, distributors, and so on?
Ø State and evaluate the staffing policy and other HR aspects you will consider, explain
your rationale. What leadership style might be most effective in this environment?
Justify.
Ø Critically evaluate communication problems your managers might face in the hostcountry
working environment.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
A critical approach is adopted and theoretically rooted arguments are developed and built to
address key elements of the question. (50%)
The extent to which the literature chosen is used to inform and support the subsequent
analysis and application of practice. (40%)
The paper meets the required standards of presentation and scholarship manifested by an
appropriate list of citations, reference and bibliography in the standard used by the Faculty of
Business, a logical structure, clear use of sub-headings, correct grammar, punctuation and
spelling, clear diagrams and tables where included, in accordance to the word count. (10%)

PRESENTING COURSEWORK FOR ASSESSMENT
Your assignment must be presented in the following format:
q It must be word-processed in 11 point Arial font and 1.5 -spaced
q All pages must be numbered
q Margins must be as follows: Top: 1 inch, Bottom: 1 inch (2.5 cm), Left: 1.25 inches,
Right: 1.25 inches (3.2 cm)
IMPORTANT: in the1st paragraph introduce the company in 3 sentences and then the structure and content of the work.

Identify academic articles that criticize the framework models (models like Hofstede,GLOBAL, Trompenaars) Note: models should be moved to appendix .
Anything you write should be supported by academic literature.
Be careful about regional differences.
Be very critical, logical, analytical and produce tight arguments.
Use more than 1 framework.
There must be many good academic literature and use a lot of sources literature.
Any use of diagrams, graphs or tables should be in appendix
