Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

Write a critical analysis of an assessment practice, programme or policy in which you

have been involved or with which you are very familiar. This may be at classroom, school

or national level. Your analysis should address the following issues, if relevant: the

purposes of the practice/programme/policy; formative and summative purposes of any

assessment instruments involved; issues related to validity and reliability; issues of equity

and inclusion; the effects (or anticipated effects) of the practice/programme/policy on

learners/teachers/ society; how you think it could be improved.
