Instagram is a photo sharing application which gives products and services more than 25% engagement compared to other social media with roughly 70% female users and 30% male users, with 50% of the top brands using it as a platform for marketing channel  popularizes Instagram for marketing businesses online ( Wally 2014). Being a completely visual and a mobile platform makes it a market place for display/advertising and purchasing items together with the growth of visual web and social media use by business in Saudi Arabia for marketing purposes and have great influence on brand reputation (Faraj 2015). This makes it easier to brand and advertise products through referrals from one Instagram user to another as social media coming up as the voice of brands. Branding gives the promise to provide certain products or services without failure to customers and serves acritical purpose in business growth (Abdallah, Saud & Khan 2013) with Instagram making it happen that customers can communicate to customers or brand to customers and vise. It reduces the marketing cost for business and enable business to expand their potential reach both nationally and internationally utilizing market strategies to promote products and services online (Praveen, Jaafar & Ainin 2014) Handling customer care services this is by obtaining customer feedback, reaction, reviews regarding the business’s products and services, and responding to things like payment options, price of commodities, where to get the products and services and quality. Business are also able to create and develop relationships and efficient communication with their customers. (Nawal Al Haidari 2015) Businesses are able and increasing the use of social media to interact with customers efficiently without the need of face to face interaction there by reducing operation costs (Andzulis, Panagopoulos & Rapp 2012)

Unlike SWE the application  does not need registration but only require email address which are very easy to create at the comfort of the users compared to business registration processes which are usually long, a lot of paperwork involved and requirements. Registration is also hard for women as this is a male dominated area and the fear of not getting government jobs is minimised as one can do their businesses online without worry.

Instagram enable the women working pattern to variate; it is not a must for them to conduct their business at a particular place or time any time can be a job time and multitasking is very possible and efficient. This can happen, for example, one can post the shoes she is selling while waiting for the response, she can finish the job she brought from work, or while researching at a workplace, one can be following the conversation about their goods and services online, as research as shown that most people in Saudi Arabia mostly use social media to collect information for professional and personal reasons.

Availability of internet all over have given people the chance to use social media ranging from what’s up Twitter Facebook LinkedIn among others and interact and the common way of using internet is through smartphones because of their usability convenience, easy to acquire and mobile. (Faraj 2014) There is a widespread of the usage of smartphones in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Arabia being the second highest in smartphone usage per capita in the world. Most people in Saudi Arabia carry around at least a smartphone which they mostly use to access social media platforms like whats up and twitter. Nowadays, every person in Saudi Arabia for example carries at least one smartphone, which amongst other purposes are used to access social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram since most people in Saudi Arabia spend a lot of their time collecting information for professional and personal use one platform i.e. Instagram alone will not be sufficient for research plus reaching out to different people considering one man’s meat is another man’s poison.
