Before moving to the U.S. I was a music composition major and as I moved here about three years ago, I changed my major to Biomedical Science (pre-medical emphasis) due to family pressure and also
worked in a nursing home as a nurse assistant to see whether or not I’m a good fit to healthcare-related professions. But I realized that I wasn’t happy with it at all and now I’m switching back to
music. I want to write about how my immigration and the two years of being away from music have influenced my character and changed my entire view to everything–specifically Ms.
